Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking an Elementary School Special Education Teacher for Reading School District (K-2). The role starts at $52,000 and goes up to $64,000 per year, depending on experience, education, and licensure.

The position involves delivering specialized instruction to students with emotional support needs, creating a supportive classroom climate, assessing progress, guiding staff, and coordinating IEP services.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required.
• Master’s degree in Special Education preferred.
• We provide emergency certification if not already obtained prior to starting employment
• Previous Special Education Teacher experience strongly preferred, student teaching also considered.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction to elementary students (K-2) with emotional support needs.
• Establish a supportive learning environment.
• Evaluate and assess student progress relative to instructional objectives.
• Provide guidance to support staff.
• Coordinate the delivery of special education services in each student’s IEP.
