The position requires a MA teaching license with Severe or Moderate Disabilities, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and experience delivering individualized instruction in a structured setting for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with Special Education (Severe or Moderate Disabilities) certification.
• Eligible to teach in MA through DESE.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Delivers individualized instruction for students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of MA Special Education laws and IEP development.
• Classroom experience Monday-Friday in a structured setting.
• Experience with students who are nonverbal, on the autism spectrum, prone to tantrums, runners, or wheelchairbound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing IEPs, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and families to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
• Provide individualized instruction and support to elementary students with moderate to severe disabilities in a structured day school setting.
• Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth for high-needs students.
• Work full-time, year-round from September through June, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
