Job summary

Soliant seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based contract in Santa Rosa, CA. The role is three days per week, supporting elementary students under a licensed SLP, with emphasis on accurate progress notes and collaboration with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as an SLPA.
• Experience in a school setting with elementary students preferred.
• Solid understanding of speech and language developmental milestones.
• Ability to document progress and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students, implementing speech and language therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist in conducting screenings and assessments.
• Foster positive relationships with students to see growth in their communication abilities.
• Keep detailed and confidential student progress notes.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising SLP, teachers, and parents to ensure cohesive support.
• Utilize creative and engaging techniques tailored to elementary learners.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
