Job summary

Qualifications

• Current active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certificate (either is acceptable to start; both will be required eventually)
• CCC, CF, or SLAs certified through GaPSC accepted
• Experience in school settings, elementary preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to document student progress and develop individualized strategies
• Commitment to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to elementary students, focusing on IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate records
• Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate speech/language interventions into the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and student evaluations
• Consistently monitor and document student progress while adjusting interventions as needed
• Serve as a resource for families and staff regarding communication disorders
