Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. invites a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school-based team near Covington, GA. This onsite contract role focuses on delivering therapy and evaluating students, collaborating with teachers and families to support communication goals.

You will hold Georgia SLP license or GaPSC certification (ideally SLP-CCC). The position runs full-time during the school year, with 37.5 hours per week and opportunities to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Georgia SLP license or GaPSC certification required
• Open to SLP-CCC, CF, and SLAs with GAPSC certification
• Experience in school-based settings, elementary level strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, teachers, and caregivers
• Commitment to student privacy and district-wide best practices
• Ability to provide therapy and evaluation services with compassion and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students onsite
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to support students’ educational goals
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Participate in professional development opportunities relevant to school-based speech therapy
