Job summary

Onward Search Education is partnering with a Hillsborough County school district in New Hampshire to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. In-person role with a caseload of 40-50 elementary students, providing direct therapy, evaluations, and collaboration with educational teams.

The SLP will support IEP implementation, use AAC devices when needed, and ensure compliance with IDEA and state regulations while advocating for student communication needs.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience conducting assessments and providing direct therapy in school/pediatric settings.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, special education compliance, and evidence-based SLP interventions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and related disorders.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services for articulation, language, and social communication.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support AAC devices and recommend communication strategies as needed.
• Maintain documentation, track progress, and ensure IDEA/state compliance.
• Educate families and staff on language development and intervention practices.
• Advocate for students' communication needs and foster an inclusive learning environment.
