Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for elementary settings in Ellicott City, MD for the 2023-2024 academic year. This long-term substitute contract places SLPs across multiple school sites with collaborative teams of educators and IEP staff.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, MD SLP licensure, and preferably CCC-SLP; CFY considered. Caseloads include AAC-facing needs at select sites, with a strong emphasis on progress-driven therapy and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Maryland SLP license.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• School-based SLP experience valued; CFY considered.
• Experience with diverse student populations; AAC experience preferred for some sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with communication challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP teams to develop individualized speech and language goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Adjust interventions based on student progress and interdisciplinary feedback.
