Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Kansas is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students on an onsite maternity leave assignment for the 2026/2027 school year. This four-day week role focuses on direct therapy while collaborating with educators to meet IEP goals.

You will conduct screenings and assessments, develop and monitor IEPs, and provide guidance to teachers and families. Join a dedicated team in a supportive school community near Gardner.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is required.
• Experience with elementary-aged children is strongly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists.
• Skilled in conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing IEPs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
• Administer screenings, assessments, and diagnostics for speech/language disorders.
• Create, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with the educational team.
• Offer consultation, guidance, and resources to teachers and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Support a positive and inclusive learning environment within the school.
