Our classrooms are places where students work hard, think critically, and also have time for collaborative activities, exploration, and just being kids.

We hold high expectations for our students and ourselves. At the same time, we believe learning should be joyful, and that strong relationships are the key to lasting growth.

Why Join Our Team?

  • Small class sizes so you can build meaningful connections with students

  • A chance to be part of a school that believes all kids can achieve

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for educators who bring experience and passion to help young students develop a love for science and discovery. If you have a background in guiding children to meet ambitious goals—or you’re newer to the classroom but can show evidence of your impact—we’d love to connect.

What You’ll Do
As our Elementary Science Teacher, you will:

  • Implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)

  • Deliver hands-on, inquiry-based instruction in science to spark curiosity and critical thinking

  • Use performance data to provide targeted instruction and support individual student growth

  • Analyze and adjust lessons to meet diverse learning needs, including collaborating with special education staff to modify curricula

  • Create a positive, structured classroom environment where students feel respected, challenged, and motivated

  • Balance high academic expectations with opportunities for collaborative activities and exploration

  • Communicate regularly with families about student progress

  • Participate in coaching, professional development, and school community events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required)

  • Texas teaching certificate (preferred but not required)

  • At least one year of successful teaching experience strongly preferred

  • We prioritize candidates who can show evidence of student success—this can include:

    • Achievement data

    • Portfolios or student work samples

    • Recommendation letters

  • Commitment to continuous professional growth
