Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass the GACE Education Ethics Assessment.
• At least two years of verifiable industrial work experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-relevant, subject-matter curricula.
• Develops lesson plans for in-person and virtual learning with documented prep.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and parents by phone, email, or video.
• Creates a conducive in-person and virtual learning environment.
• Uses internet and web-based tools to deliver instruction and collab with students.
• Assesses and reports progress, attendance, and performance.
• Manages student behavior per the Student Code of Conduct.
• Participates in conferences with parents, students, counselors, teachers, and admins.
• Performs general instructional duties and attends training sessions.
• Directs paraprofessional/instructional aide as needed.
• Maintains attendance and performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in education (Georgia PSC-approved)

Valid PSC-approved teaching certificate

Certification alignment with subject/endorsement

CTAE specializations (if applicable)

GACE Education Ethics Assessment
