Job summary

The K–5 General Education Teacher position in The Dalles, OR is a travel assignment with Amergis Healthcare Staffing. You will provide instruction and classroom management for elementary students, aligned to state standards and district policies.

This role requires licensure, a bachelor’s degree, and prior teaching experience; travel positions offer weekly pay and comprehensive benefits in a healthcare-staffing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).
• Valid state teaching license and/or certificate/endorsement as required by state.
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment (preferred).
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Ability to comply with FERPA and HIPPA requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
