Job Description
Position: Elementary School Teacher (Kindergarten - Third Grade)
Location: East Cleveland City School District
School Year: 2025–2026
Contract: 189 Days
Salary: Per the East Cleveland Education Association (ECEA) negotiated contract
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Proper and current certification to teach the appropriate content and grade levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse teaching team
- Willingness to grow as an educational leader
- Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, changing environment
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- At least 3 years of urban teaching experience
- Demonstrated success in raising student academic performance
- Experience in school leadership, culture building, coaching, and staff development
Responsibilities

Other Duties:
