Job summary

Qualifications

• NJDOE certification is required for the supervisor role.
• Principal CE is preferred for advancement and leadership.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of behavior management and evidence-based instruction.
• Familiarity with IDEA and related special education regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with staff and districts to support IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with staff and parents to meet student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Deliver staff in-service to enhance instructional strategies.
• Perform duties assigned by supervisors and building principal.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned staff.
• Interpret and apply rules, policies and procedures.
• Monitor progress of student programs toward goals.
• Analyze educational and behavioral issues and act accordingly.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
