Responsibilities

1. Teach elementary science classes to one grade level.
2. Develop lessons and assessments aligned with Match's Science curriculum in collaboration with colleagues and leadership.
3. Support the Science department, including covering courses when needed.
4. Maintain high academic and behavioral standards and support students in achieving them.
5. Participate in coaching and professional development programs.
6. Assist with school activities during non-instructional times (arrival, lunch, dismissal).
7. Contribute positively to the school community.

Qualifications

• At least two years of full-time teaching experience, preferably in an urban setting.
• Valid Massachusetts teaching license or ability to obtain one within a year.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from $61,812 to $98,899 based on experience. Benefits include 90% health insurance coverage and student loan repayment assistance.
