Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle minor discipline issues, record incidents, and notify classroom teacher or Student Support Manager as appropriate.
• Assist in implementing programs/activities to promote a safe, positive school culture.
• Monitor hallways and classrooms to increase student on-task time, ensure student safety, and reduce vandalism and other inappropriate behaviors.
• Assist with lunch recess duty coverage. Pro-active work to increase positive playground activities.
• Direct lunchtime activities for students.
• Perform such school-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Deal with students, parents, staff, and others in a positive, encouraging manner.
