Job summary

Soliant Education is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to provide onsite support for the 2026–2027 school year with Cherokee County School District in Gaffney, South Carolina. This position will support elementary-aged students through comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and collaboration with school teams.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina School Psychologist license/certification required.
• Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
• Complete initial evaluations and reevaluations.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments.
• Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Participate in eligibility meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
• Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with South Carolina special education requirements.
