Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year near Harvey, IL. This contract role runs from August 19 through June 11, supporting elementary students and collaborating with educational teams to promote student growth.

Responsibilities include comprehensive psychological assessments, leading testing for IEPs, and delivering individual and group counseling. Strong communication with teachers, families, and PPT teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Specialist Degree in School Psychology is a must.
• Current Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement.
• Strong skills in administering psychological assessments, diagnostic testing, and evaluations.
• Experience with elementary-aged children preferred.
• Effective communicator and active participant in team meetings.
• Ability to provide both individual and group counseling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students’ needs.
• Lead testing and diagnostic examinations to inform IEPs.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and counseling for students, either one-on-one or in small groups.
• Attend and contribute to PPT meetings.
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to develop targeted strategies for student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidential student records.
• Serve as a resource to staff regarding best practices in mental health and educational supports.
