Soliant Health is hiring a School Psychologist on a maternity-leave contract in Vernon Hills, IL. The role covers two nearby schools, with an emphasis on psychoeducational assessments and direct student support.

Eligible candidates should hold an Illinois School Psychologist certificate and have experience with elementary-aged students. Bilingual Spanish is valued. In-person collaboration and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Illinois School Psychologist certification.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students (preschool through grade 5).
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychoeducational assessments and evaluations.
• Offer direct counseling and support services as appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention plans.
• Support students, teachers and parents through consultation and advocacy.
• Manage a caseload with an evaluation load that varies by week.
• Assist with smooth handover by joining current psychologist if possible.
