Sheridan Elementary in Katy, Texas is seeking a Principal to lead instructional programs and student achievement. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree and valid administrator certification, with at least four years of administrative or supervisory experience in public schools, preferably at the elementary level.

The principal will oversee curriculum, staff development, and community engagement, ensuring effective communication with families and the district while aligning with the campus

Formación

• Master’s degree from a recognized, accredited college or university required, with additional graduate study preferred.
• Valid standard administrator certification required.
• Demonstrated experience with instructional leadership and teacher appraisal.
• Minimum of four (4) years of successful administrative or supervisory experience in public schools, with preference given to elementary level.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor instructional and managerial processes to ensure program outcomes.
• Consult campus-level committee on planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation of campus education program.
• Provide instructional resources and materials to support teaching staff.
• Foster collegiality and team-building among staff and encourage involvement in decision-making.
• Two-way communication with superintendent, staff, students, parents, and community.
• Communicate and promote expectations for high-level performance to staff and students.
