Job summary

Soliant is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support elementary students across two buildings in Illinois. This full-time contract role offers 37.5 hours per week with a schedule through December 23, 2026.

You’ll provide consultative and direct OT services to IEP and 504 students, participate in evaluations, develop IEP goals, and collaborate closely with teachers and families. A valid IL OT license is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills for parent and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor, visual-motor integration, sensory, and self-care skills.
• Modify tasks or classroom environments to optimize student learning and engagement.
• Perform diagnostic and evaluation assessments as needed.
• Prepare detailed, insightful reports based on student observation and assessment.
• Develop and manage IEP goals and appropriate accommodations for students.
• Foster collaborative relationships with educational staff and families to support student success.
