Qualifications

• NH Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with NH Board of Nursing licensure.
• Minimum degree requirement per NH DOE and RSA 200:29.
• Minimum three years pediatric nursing or related experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of medical record keeping and filing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health needs of students and implement health care plans as directed by physicians.
• Provide emergency first aid and treatment for health concerns during school hours.
• Administer physician/parent approved medications.
• Maintain electronic health records and assist with forms for health-related issues.
• Coordinate health screenings, immunizations, and disease management; support 504 plans as needed.
