Qualifications

• Certification/License: Guidance Counselor.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
• Bachelor's degree in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Successful prior teaching and/or counseling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists students in evaluating aptitudes and abilities using tests and data.
• Helps students with course selections and evaluating career interests.
• Directs scheduling of classes and dissemination of occupational info.
• Supports admissions, scholarships and employment opportunities for students.
• Coordinates with staff to identify student needs and communicate guidance services.
