Job summary

Hope Christian School Inc in Albuquerque seeks a Part-Time Elementary School Chaplain to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and relational ministry for PreK–5 students. You will work under the Director of Spiritual Life to implement spiritual programming and foster a Christ-centered learning environment that extends across campus.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong personal relationship with Christ and active church involvement.
• Experience in children/ministry settings with PreK–Elementary is preferred.
• Ability to communicate Biblical concepts clearly to young students.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily spiritual leadership and relational ministry to elementary students.
• Lead Bible studies, prayer times, and age-appropriate spiritual formation.
• Collaborate with staff to integrate biblical values in classrooms and chapel.
• Plan and support chapel services and school-wide spiritual life initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Theology/Biblical Studies/Ministry/Christian Education

Ordination and pastoral care experience

Ministry with children/families (PreK–Elementary)

Strong verbal and written communication

Relational mentoring and shepherding
