POSITION AVAILABLE: Elementary Resource Teacher

POSITION STARTS: Monday, July 27, 2026

SCHEDULE: 7:45AM to 4:15PM, Monday thru Friday in keeping with academic schedule.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide on campus, classroom instruction for middle and/or high school students in a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds
• ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior
• prepare and follow class appropriate Lesson Plans

REQUIREMENTS

• Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students progress, working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success; strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previously Taught in a Florida Public or Private School for 3 or more years or;
• Bachelor's Degree (4 years from an accredited university)

BENEFITS / COMPENSATION

• Hourly $15.75 to $19.00, per hour
• Participation in 403(b) Retirement Plan is available immediately, upon hire
