Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree with a valid Missouri teaching certificate.
• Must be certified in Special Reading (Remedial).
• Preferred: five years of successful classroom teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer the special reading program.
• Interpret student needs and progress in reading to the classroom teacher and the parents.
• Confer with parents concerning individual students experiencing special reading problems or those required special remedial help.
• Maintain the documentation necessary to comply with state and federal guidelines.
• Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
