Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time speech-language pathologist to support students in grades K-12 for the 2026-2027 school year in Long Beach, CA. This contract position offers meaningful, evidence-based therapy in a school setting with a diverse caseload.

You will evaluate, plan, and deliver therapy, collaborate with families and teachers, and participate in IEP meetings. Local and travel therapists are encouraged to apply, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).
• ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY candidates considered.
• Previous experience in school-based pediatric therapy preferred, especially early childhood or elementary settings.
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy.
• Collaborate regularly with families, teachers, and support staff to foster student progress.
• Track and document student growth, attending IEP meetings and providing input into instructional planning.
