Job summary

Santa Clara Unified School District is seeking a dedicated instructional aide to support elementary physical education under the supervision of the principal and PE teacher. You will organize groups, lead activities, monitor progress, and help maintain a safe, productive learning environment.

Required: graduation from high school and CPR/First Aid training; experience with children in organized settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school.
• Demonstrated experience working with children in an organized setting.
• CPR and First Aid Training.

Responsibilities

• Assist the certificated teacher and/or PE TOSA in providing instruction in physical education to elementary students.
• Lead physical education activities and organize groups.
• Monitor student progress and report behaviors per approved procedures.
• Perform clerical and other duties compensated at the appropriate rate.
