Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate physical education instruction aligned with Maine Learning Results.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, perseverance, and respect.
• Develop students' motor skills, fitness, and healthy-lifestyle understanding through varied activities.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Use assessment data to monitor growth and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, and related staff to support student success.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Incorporate social-emotional learning into physical education.
• Maintain a safe, organized gym and equipment; participate in school events.
