Job description

San Diego Calvary Korean Church Education Department is seeking an Elementary Pastor/Educational Director who can work within the overall church’s vision statement to nurture children, equip teachers, educate parents, and supervise educational ministers for raising lifelong disciples of Jesus.

Position

Elementary Pastor/Educational Director (Full Time with the option for Part Time or Half Time)

Payroll Package

$70,000–$80,000 annually (full-time), plus retirement benefits (403(b))

Responsibilities

Coordinate the Educational Department Ministry:

• Direct and manage VBS, Holy Win, etc.
• Oversee issues between departments
• Participate in weekly meetings and communicate w/ church about issues of the educational department

Oversee, grow & coordinate all aspects of the Elementary Department, which includes:

• Preach and lead weekly Sunday worship services, including small groups & bible study
• Lead Friday Night AWANA
• Coordinate seasonal events (Children’s Day, etc.)
