Job summary

Uintah School District seeks a part-time Instructional Aide at Maeser Elementary to support classrooms for up to 23 hours weekly. This voucher position carries no employee benefits and requires applicants to be 18 or older.

Responsibilities include assisting with student education, data collection, and supervision during recess or bus duty as needed. Candidates should have a HS diploma, or an Associate's degree/48 college credits, or ParaPro test eligibility and/or completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate's degree or 48 college credits preferred.
• Must pass ParaPro test immediately upon hire.
• Willingness to take ParaPro test if not already completed.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the education of assigned students.
• Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth.
• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Assist with data collection.
• Assist with recess and/or bus duty as needed.
• Work cooperatively with all staff to insure a comfortable and pleasant working environment that will be conducive to learning and will encourage safety and good relationships.
• Other duties as assigned by school administrator.
