Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 college hours or have passed the Oklahoma General Education Test (OGET).
• ParaPro Test or WorkKeys Test.
• MUST PROVIDE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION.
• Stand and walk up to seven hours; occasional bending/squatting; lift up to 50 pounds; use both hands for fine manipulation.
• Good people skills to positively impact the student learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assists students individually and in groups in an instructional capacity.
• Grades papers and prepares instructional materials.
• Performs clerical duties related to the classroom.
• Supervises students outside of the classroom.
• Prepares bulletin boards.
• Assists students on computers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Administer, scores and records tests.
• Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Serves as the chief information source for substitutes.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information.
• Assists students with basic life functions.
• May lift and position students during the day.
• Other duties as assigned.
