Job summary

The Cedar Rapids Community School District is seeking a part-time Teacher Associate for the 2026-2027 school year. This 4-hour daily position offers a starting wage of $16.25 per hour, with duties centered on supervising students and supporting learning under professional staff guidance.

Qualifications

• Two year post secondary education or Paraeducator certificate or qualifying score on NCRC assessment test required.
• Willingness to assume responsibility.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Flexibility in working with classroom teachers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Enjoy working with young people.
• Ability to effectively supervise students while maintaining a positive relationship with them.
