Yeshiva Elementary School (Miami) invites an experienced Elementary or Middle School Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year, or to start immediately. You will inspire students, deliver lessons aligned with Common Core standards, and contribute to a warm, faith-based private school community.

This role emphasizes classroom engagement, collaboration with colleagues, and a commitment to student achievement within a private school setting. In-person teaching at our Biscayne Park campus is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of teaching experience required.
• 3 work references including 1 from previous employer.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons and materials.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and tests aligned with established procedures.
• Use technology to support and differentiate instruction.

Elementary or Middle School Teacher

Established Private Elementary and Middle School looking for an experienced, dynamic teacher who is passionate about education and student achievement for the 2024-2025 school year, or possibly starting immediately.

Job Qualifications Include:

• Effective Classroom Management, Communication, and Organizational Skills

• 2 years of teaching experience

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning

• Develops schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment

• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.

• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures

• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school

• Provide appropriate feedback on work

• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies

• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development

• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments
