Job summary

Carney, Sandoe & Associates is seeking an Elementary Music Teacher for the 2027-2028 school year at private and independent K-12 schools in the San Francisco Bay Area and nationwide.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in music (Master’s preferred) with 2–3 years of lower school teaching experience and strong vocal/instrumental skills. Collaboration with faculty and effective communication with families are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 2–3 years of lower school teaching experience preferred.
• Strong vocal and instrumental skills; ability to use varied teaching strategies to differentiate learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach several music courses for lower school students.
