Qualifications

• Active 049 CDE Certification as required by the Connecticut State Department of Education.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or Music.
• Experience teaching elementary students.
• Ability to work with diverse communities and teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow the approved scope and sequence of the music program.
• Prepare lesson plans with clear objectives and varied instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents.
• Demonstrate strong content knowledge and classroom management.
• Contribute to professional learning and collaborative team teaching.
• Engage families through conferences and ongoing updates.
