Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Teacher certificate at the appropriate level or accepted into an approved ACP and have passed required exams.
• Experience working with diverse student populations preferred.
• Bilingual fluency is beneficial in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach the District curriculum with standards-based, measurable objectives and rigorous instruction.
• Monitor student progress and adjust materials to address individual needs with differentiation.
• Develop instructional units and project-based learning to foster collaboration and creative thinking.
• Assess mastery and document progress using multiple assessment tools, including standardized tests.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and state/local assessment records; participate in district/ campus professional development.
