WORK SCHEDULE: 10 hrs/week, day/hours negotiable
PURPOSE: Muddy Creek Charter School is looking for a dynamic elementary music teacher who can inspire and engage students in a place/project-based learning environment. We offer a joyful and creative educational experience where engaged students practice the skills they will need to be effective citizens and stewards in the future. The successful candidate for this position will be an inspirational and passionate educator with the ability to deliver an inquiry-based, academic program.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens. Supervision responsibilities require the employee to be able to stand up to 30 consecutive minutes and move rapidly to intervene in situations where a student's safety is being jeopardized.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position is for the 2024/2025 school year. MCCS hires all employees on an annual basis. THIS POSITION IS GRANT FUNDED FOR ONE SCHOOL YEAR. Opportunities for private lesson space at MCCS and student referrals may also be available when school is not in session.
