Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Ohio near Toledo is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position spanning elementary through high school. You will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs within an inclusive school setting.

You will develop individualized treatment plans and IEPs, collaborate with teachers and families, monitor progress, and document outcomes to meet state requirements.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure to practice as an SLP.
  • School-based experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with students across elementary to high school.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records and reports per state requirements.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed.
  • Provide guidance to teachers and families to support carryover of strategies beyond therapy sessions.
