Job summary

Dysart Unified School District Freedom Traditional Academy in Surprise, AZ seeks a Baseball Coach for the 26/27 school year to lead student athletes and oversee the program.

Responsibilities include coaching, organizing the sports program, building rapport with students and staff, maintaining confidentiality, and performing other duties as assigned; requires Arizona teaching or coaching certification, NFHS Level 1, and appropriate clearances.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teacher certification or Arizona coaching certification or NFHS Level 1 Certification.
• NFHS Concussion in Sports certification required.
• NFHS Cheer & Dance Safety Certificate for cheer positions may be required.
• Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.

Responsibilities

• Coach student athletes in area of assigned responsibility.
• Organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Establish and maintain rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
