Job summary

Franke Park Elementary School seeks a part-time Media Clerk to support the school library program. You will work with teachers to conduct reading activities, help students locate resources, and maintain the media center with shelving, inventories, and circulation tasks.

The role includes assisting in book fairs and contributing to a culture of literacy within the school, under supervision of school leadership.

Qualifications

• High school graduation and clerical/library experience preferred.
• Strong office, computer, and oral/written communication skills.
• Experience working with groups of children in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selecting and locating library materials and guiding students.
• Circulate materials using library software and manage inventories.
• Set up and run book fairs to support library needs.
• Attend professional learning opportunities at building and district levels.
