The Anchored School is seeking a passionate and innovative Grades 4–6 Math Teacher who can make mathematics exciting, engaging, and meaningful through Project-Based Learning.

We are looking for an educator who believes that students learn best by doing—using games, hands‑on activities, real‑world problem solving, STEM challenges, and collaborative projects to build a strong foundation in mathematics.
Responsibilities:
  • Teach math to students in Grades 4–6 using a Project-Based Learning approach.
  • Design engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and problem‑solving.
  • Incorporate math games, manipulatives, technology, and interactive activities into daily instruction.
  • Connect mathematical concepts to real‑world applications and cross‑curricular projects.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment where students feel confident taking risks and solving challenging problems.
  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Texas teaching certification preferred).
  • Experience teaching upper elementary or middle school math (Grades 4–6 preferred).
  • Passion for Project-Based Learning and student‑centered instruction.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Creative, energetic, and committed to helping every student develop confidence in math.
