Job summary

Collegium Charter School 468/486 Building: Grades K-4 - Exton, Pennsylvania seeks an Elementary Math Specialist to coordinate, support, and evaluate the district's mathematics programs. You will serve as a resource and consultant for teaching staff and provide intervention strategies to address deficiencies and improve student success in mathematics.

Requirements include Pennsylvania teaching certification, a minimum of 5 years' teaching experience with a record of improving student achievement,

Qualifications

• PA teaching certification required; if from another state, PA cert must be obtained within the required timeframe.
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience with a track record of impacting student achievement.
• Experience with Eureka Math preferred.
• Knowledge of a wide range of mathematics topics including arithmetic, calculus, trig and geometry.
• Knowledge of current teaching methods and differentiated instruction based on learning styles.
• Ability to lead a professional teaching staff in mathematics.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations and software.
• Clearances (Act 34, Act 151, Act 114) dated within one year of receipt.
• Meets criteria for employment in a PA Public School.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, support, and evaluate the school's mathematics programs.
• Serve as resource and consultant for teaching staff and provide intervention strategies.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress.
• Assist teachers in modifying instructional methods for individual needs.
• Document teaching and student progress, activities, and outcomes.
• Assess and provide feedback to administration and staff on progress and curriculum effectiveness.
• Maintain records, grading, and reporting for related activities as required by CCS procedures and laws.
• Enforce CCS codes and promote good citizenship.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information, progress, and records.
• Adhere to CCS policies and PA Educator Conduct.
