Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active teaching license issued by the Virginia Department of Education.
• Master's degree with a Mathematics Specialist endorsement preferred.
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
• Experience in grades K–5.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and support for elementary math instruction through coaching, collaboration with school leadership, reading specialists, coaches, and teachers.
• Support teachers in using coaching cycles, modeling instruction, co-teaching, and collaborative planning.
• Assist teachers with data to identify needs, form groups, select resources, and inform instruction.
• Participate in planning to implement HCPS Instructional Model and alignment of curriculum.
