Job summary

St. Matthew School in northeast Indianapolis is seeking a passionate maternity leave substitute teacher for our elementary team to provide continuity and support during a teacher's leave.

The ideal candidate will work with established curriculum, adapt instruction for diverse learners, and collaborate with families and staff to sustain a faith-filled, student-centered environment. Candidates should hold valid Elementary Education teaching license or be eligible to substitute in Indiana;

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a valid Elementary Education teaching license or be eligible to serve as a substitute teacher in Indiana.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills are required.
• Ability to engage elementary students and adapt instruction to plans and learner needs.
• Dependable, collaborative, and flexible with families and staff.
