St. Matthew School, located on the northeast side of Indianapolis, is seeking a maternity leave substitute teacher to join our elementary team. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Elementary Education teaching license or be eligible to serve as a substitute teacher in Indiana.
• Additional certifications, endorsements, and relevant classroom experience are welcome and will be considered.
• Experience with elementary students and strong classroom management and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity of instruction during a teacher's maternity leave.
• Maintain an engaging, well-managed classroom for students during the maternity leave period.
• Collaborate with families, colleagues, and school leadership to support students academically and socially.
