About the Role

As a Mandarin Elementary Teacher at Stratford School, you will develop and implement instruction for elementary students in our afterschool immersion program, focusing on vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You must be professionally prepared to teach Mandarin to young children.

• Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum for the afterschool program
• Collaborate with faculty and staff
• Provide administrative support
• Float between classrooms to support teaching
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Maintain an organized classroom environment

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• At least two years of classroom experience in an elementary setting
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
