Job summary

King’s Schools in Shoreline, WA is seeking a part-time Lunchroom Supervisor to oversee elementary students during lunch periods and maintain a safe, orderly environment.

This role supports lunch schedules, reinforces behavior expectations, and collaborates with teachers and staff to ensure smooth operations. A high school diploma and experience with children are preferred; a Food Handler’s Card is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Food Handler’s Card required.
• One year of experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise elementary students during lunch.
• Ensure lunch periods start and end on schedule.
• Communicate and reinforce lunchroom behavior expectations.
• Monitor students and provide reminders or redirection as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized lunchroom environment.
• Prepare and reset the lunchroom between groups for the next class.
• Assist with arrival and dismissal procedures.
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, food-service staff, and admins to support lunch operations.
