Responsibilities

• Supervise students in cafeteria during lunch to maintain safety and order.
• Enforce the district's discipline code and behavior expectations.
• Maintain order: lunch line, trays, tables, and supplies.
• Dismiss students at end of lunch period following procedures.
• Communicate with supervisor, principal, teachers, security and students about behavior.
• Monitor visitors; ensure sign-in and badges are visible.
• Assist during emergencies and evacuations as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and monitors to complete daily tasks.
• Assist in kitchen tasks such as dish room, condiments, cleaning when needed.
• Promote a positive, cooperative lunchroom environment.
• Attend meetings and in-service days; perform additional duties as assigned.
