Responsibilities

• Communicate to teachers any behaviors that disrupt the cafeteria environment or cause an unsafe environment.
• Ensure that various processes/procedures are established and maintained which will ensure a calm environment.
• Help provide a safe and orderly environment.
• Maintain a high degree of positivity and enthusiasm for the job.
• Report and/or update the principal or teachers on issues or problems related to job duties.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the cafeteria manager or principal.

TITLE: FES Cafeteria Monitor

QUALIFICATIONS:

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

JOB GOAL: To help create a safe and calm cafeteria experience for the students of Fairview Elementary.

POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:

HOURS: 3.5 hours per day – 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Support Staff class C employees may work this job in conjunction with another Fairview School District position provided the schedule allows for the time noted above (4.5 hours from 9:30 to 2:00) and the total time worked in any week does not equal or exceed 30 hours including any time worked in addition to the normal scheduled hours.

SALARY: $17.29 per hour
