Qualifications

• CT State Certification in Remedial Reading and Remedial Language Arts required.
• Outstanding ability as an elementary literacy educator required.

Responsibilities

• Implements GPS literacy curriculum aligned with district goals and CT standards.
• Attends data teams and parent meetings to discuss student progress and growth.
• Provides targeted, intensive instruction to struggling readers.
• Assesses and diagnoses literacy needs and designs individualized programs.
